Engineering Examiner OOW Demo time limit bug

There is a bug in Engineering Examiner OOW which causes the program to display a message after 60 minutes continued use stating that the demo time limit has expired and the program must then be closed and restarted to carry on working.

To solve this problem download the PatchEE4.zip file here and follow the instructions below

The zip file contains a program called PatchEE4.exe - extract this to to a folder on your hard drive.

For XP and Vista users...To extract the PatchEE4.exe  file, double-click on the zip file. Then, drag the file to a location of your choice. Alternatively right-click on the zip file, and then click Extract All. In the Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard, specify where you want to store the extracted file.

*If you are using an older version of Windows then you will need to download a zip file extractor ultility, 7-Zip is available as a free download* 

Once you have extracted the .exe file simply double-click it to to run it. 

If your program is installed in the default location ("C:\Apps\Engineer OOW") then just run the PatchEE4.exe program and click the buttons to proceed through the process.

If you have installed Engineer OOW to a different location, then there are a couple of extra steps to take.

Either

1) Use Windows Explorer to go to the Engineer OOW folder where your program is already installed and create a new folder inside it called "Engoow.036". Then run the PatchEE4.exe program and select the folder you have just created (so that the path looks like C:\....\Engineer OOW\Engoow.036), then click continue.

OR

2) Run the PatchEE4.exe program, select the Engineer OOW folder where your program is already installed, then click in the box which displays the path to this folder and add \Engoow.036 at the end before clicking continue

The path displayed in the upper box should always end in "\Engineer OOW\Engoow.036"

If the patch is applied successfully your Engineer OOW folder should contain a subfolder called Engoow.036 and this subfolder should contain a file called Engoow.ccc.
If the Engoow.ccc file is in your main Engineer OOW folder (where EngineeringOOW.exe is located) the patch will not work.
