The purpose of this paper is to introduce you to the benefits of the radial diffuser submerged motor LNG pump. The radial diffuser submerged motor LNG pump was selected by J. C. Carter to provide a more stable head-capacity characteristic curve (contantly rising curve to shut-off). It has proven to not only produce a stable curve but an improved pump efficiency, reduced wear, reduced maintenance costs and increased bearing life to unprecedented levels when compared to the conventional J. C. Carter axial diffuser pump.
