This course provides advanced, specialized training for who have immediate responsibility for the loading, discharging and care in transit or handling of chemicals. It covers safety on a liquefied gas tanker, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention and control, operational practice and obligations under applicable laws and regulations. Completion of the course enables attainment of the mandatory minimum training requirements prescribed by regulation V/1 of STCW 1978, as amended in 1995.
